Check your promotions or spam folder if it is not in your inbox, and add [email protected] to your contacts so the rest arrive where you can see them.
Three things to do before email one arrives
Write the date down
Put the month and year somewhere you will see it every day. A date on the fridge does more than a number on a screen.
Gather every statement
Balance, rate, and minimum for each account. Email two will ask for them, and the estimate gets sharper once the real numbers are in.
Tell one person
A spouse, a friend, a sister. Saying the date out loud is the first act of stewardship, and it makes the next ones easier.
A date is easier to keep with people around you.
